Community Sales Ambassador (Remote, Flexible Hours)
Job Title:
Community Sales Ambassador (Remote, Flexible Hours)
About us:
At Community Together Communications Ltd, we’re passionate about connecting local businesses with their communities. Through our publications like Beaconsfield Together, Gerrards Cross & Chalfonts Together, Amersham Together, Truro Together and St Austell Together we celebrate local stories, businesses, and causes. We believe in giving back to the community, and now we want you to join us in spreading the word, helping businesses thrive, and making a real difference in your local area.
Role overview:
We’re looking for energetic and passionate Community Sales Ambassadors to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has been away from the workforce for a while and is ready to rediscover their confidence, contribute to their community, and earn money in a flexible way. You’ll be working remotely, with the freedom to set your own hours around school runs, holidays, and family commitments.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive team where your ideas and energy will be valued. You’ll have the chance to meet new people, build relationships with local businesses, and play a key role in supporting the local community.
What you’ll do:
- Reach out to local businesses: Use your communication skills to connect with local companies who could benefit from advertising in our community publications.
- Build relationships: Be the friendly voice that helps local businesses understand how advertising with us can make a difference to their brand.
- Work on your own schedule: Enjoy the freedom to work around your family’s needs, with flexibility to schedule calls and meetings during school hours or at times that work for you.
- Be part of a team: While you work remotely, you’ll always be part of a supportive and fun team, where ideas are shared, and success is celebrated.
- Earn based on your success: This is a commission-based role, allowing you to earn money in a way that matches the time and energy you put into it. The harder you work, the more you earn!
What we’re looking for:
- A passionate communicator: You don’t have to have formal sales experience, but you should be comfortable talking to people and conveying your message with confidence. Maybe you’ve led fundraising efforts at your child’s school or come up with community initiatives—you know how to rally people around a cause.
- A self-starter: You’ll be managing your own schedule, so it’s important that you’re organised, reliable, and motivated to meet your sales targets.
- Tech-savvy: You don’t need to be a tech expert, but you should be comfortable using a computer and social media to connect with clients and the community.
- Community-minded: You’re likely already active in local community groups or familiar with what’s going on in your area. If not, we can help you get there! You’ll be an advocate for local businesses and causes.
- Energy and enthusiasm: You’ll bring your best energy to every task and every conversation. Your enthusiasm will help you connect with others and show them the value of working with us.
- Flexibility: You need the ability to work around school runs, holidays, and family commitments. We want this job to fit into your life—not the other way around!
Why this role Is perfect for you:
- Work around your family: You’ll have the flexibility to schedule your hours when it suits you, including during school hours or while your children are napping.
- Financial independence: As you build your client base and hit your sales targets, you’ll have the chance to earn commission, giving you the ability to treat yourself to the things you enjoy and feel confident in your financial freedom.
- Make a difference: You’ll be contributing to the community by helping local businesses grow and connect with their audience. Your work will directly benefit the area you live in.
- Regain your confidence: This role offers the chance to re-enter the workforce and build your confidence, all while working in a supportive, understanding environment that values work-life balance.
Compensation:
- This role is commission-based, allowing you to earn based on your success. There’s no cap on your earnings—you can work as much or as little as you like, and your commission will reflect your effort.
- Flexibility: You’ll be able to work from home, around school hours, and during school holidays.
How to apply:
To apply, please send us a brief cover letter explaining why you’d be a great fit for this role and how your experience or skills can contribute to our mission. We’d love to hear from you!
