Community Together Communications exists to help trusted businesses and organisations grow while strengthening the communities they serve.
What began as a single community magazine has grown into an umbrella brand connecting four local titles, thousands of homes, and the businesses, schools, charities and residents who make these places what they are.
Over more than 140 editions we have learned something simple: local marketing works when it is genuinely local. Not a postcode filter on a national campaign - real relationships, real editorial, and a magazine people are pleased to find on the doormat.
Today we combine print with digital content, PR, events, community engagement and strategic marketing. The magazines are still the heart of it, but they are no longer the whole of it.
Therese Cooklin is Managing Director of Community Together Communications, and you are as likely to meet her at a village fun run as behind a desk.
With over twenty years in sales, marketing, publishing and communications, Therese built Community Together on the belief that a local magazine should serve its community first - and that businesses do better when they are part of that community rather than simply advertising to it.
She works directly with clients on campaign strategy, and she is usually the person you will speak to when you book a discovery call.
These are not poster words. They decide who we work with and what we publish.
We say what we can deliver, and we deliver what we say.
The community comes first. Everything else follows from that.
We work alongside our clients, not at arm's length from them.
Responsive, helpful and human - at every stage.
Earned slowly, over years and editions. Never assumed.
We look for work that leaves the community better than we found it.
Our communities are for everyone in them, and so are our pages.
Well written, well designed, well delivered. Every edition.
Four magazines across two counties, each written for the place it serves.
Being a community publisher carries an obligation, and we take it seriously.
Our readers trust the magazine, which means they extend that trust to the businesses inside it. We take care not to spend that trust carelessly.
We prioritise businesses and organisations with a real connection to the community.
Where a trade, health or care service requires accreditation or insurance, we ask to see it.
Adverts and editorial must be accurate. We will query anything we cannot stand behind.
Whether you want to advertise, share a story, promote an event or explore a partnership - start with a friendly conversation.
