Accessibility statement
Our communities include everyone, and so should our website.
Last updated: July 2026.
Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including those using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, magnifying the page, or browsing with animation turned off. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page uses proper headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- A “skip to main content” link appears as soon as you press Tab.
- Everything that can be clicked can also be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a clearly visible gold focus ring.
- The mobile menu traps focus while open and closes with the Escape key.
- Text and background colours are chosen to meet AA contrast, and gold is never used for body text on a light background.
- All meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced clearly and linked to the field concerned.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, all animation and smooth scrolling is switched off.
- Text can be resized up to 200% and the layout reflows without loss of content, down to a 320-pixel-wide screen.
- Audio recordings can be paused and downloaded.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we are not yet where we would like to be:
- Our audio recordings do not currently have written transcripts. We are working on adding them.
- Some photographs supplied by third parties for events and offers may have less descriptive alternative text than we would like.
- Booking a discovery call takes you to Calendly, a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control.
- Our regional magazine websites are separate sites and are not covered by this statement.
